Camano Island Airfield, Stanwood, WA (13W)
Correctly identified first by Dave Brown
Another sleepy little strip in a pretty location. The runway is just 1750' long, with a noticeable slope (the northern end especially), running downhill to the north. Fortunately both ends have clear approaches: the north end approach is over water and then through a wide cutout in the trees, the south end approach is over low fields and a road right next to the end of the runway (note how close the road is to the runway end in the photo above - watch for cars on the road!). The photo above is looking north.
Camano Island sure looks more like a peninsula to me than a true island - it's quite connected to the mainland by a strip of dry land. But I suppose the locals prefer to think of themselves as living on an island, even if you can drive there from I-5 without taking a ferry or going over a bridge.
