Pearson Field, Vancouver, WA (VUO)

A very nice field in an interesting and convenient location. Pearson is definitely a close-in airport, just across the river from Portland. The bridge in the photo carries Interstate 5 across the Columbia. There's an air museum right on the field, and the Fort Vancouver National Historic Site is adjacent. It's also tucked up right next to Portland International, and sits in a pretty tight cutout in the PDX Class Charlie airspace, so you need to do your homework, study things before heading there, talk to the tower at PDX, and follow directions.
