Cache Creek Airfield, Cache Creek, BC (CAZ5)
No correct answers this week.
Sitting at the confluence of the Thompson and Bonaparte Rivers, one ridge east of the mighty Frazer, Cache Creek is the first paved strip one encounters heading west out of Kamloops along a popular route through the mountains to the coast. Cache Creek also sits at the junction of the Trans-Canada Highway and BC's Cariboo Highway, so there's plenty of motels and other services for visitors in town. Shown here on final for runway 33, it may not look like there's much there in this photo, but at the far end of the runway there's an FBO with fuel, aircraft rentals and flight training facilities.
