Skykomish State, Skykomish, WA (S88)

Up in Washington's North Cascades only 40 NM east of Everett, Skykomish State sits just west of Stevens Pass by Highway 2. Sometimes used as a base for soaring ops, the 2000-foot turf runway, while a bit short, is said to be in very nice shape. I've never landed there myself (at least not yet) but am told there's camping available on the field and the small town of Skykomish is just a short walk away.
