Just a short flight from the coastal plain up the beautiful Skagit River valley brings you to the scenic little town of Concrete (where, oddly enough, the airport's runway is blacktop). The runway is situated just off the river, and winds can be a little gusty so stay on your toes on final. There's a nice fly-in event every spring and the airport is home to a lot of aviation activity, especially for a small town airport.
