Looking to the southeast from the ramp in front of the popular "Hangar Inn" airport cafe at Puyallup's Thun Field. With Mount Rainier looming in the background (behind that handsome broomtail Cessna) and with the large building in the distinctive red-and-white checkerboard paint job (at right - Clover Park Technical College, home to an active aviation maintenance program and the FAA Safety Office's WINGS program) - it can only be one place: Thun Field.
