Cashmere-Dryden Airport, Cashmere, WA (8S2)
Correctly identified first by Keith McLean

A very hospitable and convenient strip nestled in orchard country, in a valley on the east slope of the Washington cascades. The runway's a tad short at just 1800 feet, but the approaches are nice and clear. There's also a fairly noticeable slope to the runway - use it wisely. They have a nice little pilot's lounge with free courtesy bicycles and a courtesy car (a van, actually). I like to fly over from Seattle in fruit season, grab the car and head down the road 5 minutes to load up on fresh fruit (just be careful if you really load up and your plane is heavy on a hot day - keep that 1800' runway in mind as you're picking out your cargo!). A very friendly place that's well worth a visit.
