HELP WANTED: Takeoff to Fun and Adventure
« on: January 28, 2014, 01:02:42 PM »
Yes, its cold and wet now, but the days really are getting longer and spring will soon be here. It won't be long until the sun comes out and things get busy. So, in anticipation, Wild Blue Aviation is looking for a few good flight instructors. Newbie or old hand, a love of flying, meeting new and interesting people, a sense of humor, willingness to learn and a desire to be and teach others to be the best pilots possible is what it takes to be a great CFI here at WBA. Full time or part time, CFI airplanes, single and multi-engine land and sea, instruments, tailwheels and aerobatics desirable, but gaps in your resume can be filled. A&P/IA also desirable.  And yes, you can actually make a living. Pay is $60/hr. We fly an evolving fleet including a Piper L-4/C-90 (J-3 Cub), Cessna 140, Cessna 170, Cessna 172 Superhawk (180 hp), Cessna 182, Beech Turbo Travelair and a Consolidated PBY-6A, too. Coming soon: Cessna 195, Fairchild PT-26 and Nanchang CJ-6A, maybe an RV. We also maintain and restore interesting airplanes and you can be part of that, too. Did I mention we have a great time?

If you're a Student, Private, Military or Airline Pilot, you are also invited, Wannabees, too. If any of this sounds like something fun and intersting you'd like to be a part of, come on down (KAWO, best little airport in the known universe), write, email or give me a call. I loves talkin' airplanes and flying!

I see you've got a ragwing 170 listed for sale on Barnstormers, Jerry. Looks real nice. When did you get that?

Met a kid at KCLS last night doing his long cross country from Arlington. His name was Kyle and he got stuck at KCLS when the snow came.He made me sign his logbook for proof of his cross country? Hope he made it to the pilot's lounge alright?
Roger that Center.    Wait….What?
