Cessna 140 For Sale
« on: October 20, 2016, 01:13:40 PM »
Friend of mine has a very nice 140 Cessna he needs to sell.  I don't have all the particulars, but know it is less than 1300 Total Time and less than 300 on overhaul.  Based at Diamond Point (2wa1).  Anybody interested I can give you his e-mail and phone number.

Is that the one Keith bought for his granddaughter to learn to fly in?
I thought that sold a while back.

No, different plane.  The one Kieth had was actually a 120.

Spoke with the owner of this plane and his health is taking a serious downturn.  He would really like to clear this off his menu.  It is a very nice low time 140.  He first saw it for sale at Concrete about 3-4 years ago and bought it shortly after.  If anyone knows of someone interested I can put you in touch.

Sorry to hear the circumstances.

I know little about specifics of the plane.  Have seen it fly and the owner would take 2-3 hours excursions with it.  He had it on barnstormers, may still be there.  If you are really interested, send an email or pm and I will send contact info.

This very nice C-140 is once again up for sale.  Owner is in Sequim and plane is hangared at Diamond Point (2WA1).  Flown regularly when weather permits.  As i mentioned in the previous posts, I will put interested prospects in touch with the owner and you can deal with him direct.

Anyone on the board that is looking for an honest, nice flying tailwheel aircraft that is relatively low cost maintenance wise - the Cessna 140 is a great option.

The C140 was my first tailwheel airplane and I can assure you from personal experience that they can handle a lot of mediocre piloting. :)
