Ok, here's the "Future According to John", based upon my unscientific opinion.   Multicopters are the future of GA.

Great posts John! I agree this is coming, and GA is fading. I plan to fly my winged craft until I physically can't do it any longer, but I don't see this new technology as a bad thing.

I am trying this to see if I can post pictures. This is our planned route. The weather is looking good.

Drat.  :(

Al (Let's be careful out there.) Gilson

That looks like a fantastic airplane! I wish I lived closer.

I don't know a lot about the Tigers - what's the useful load? TAS?

I hope you find a good partner.

Chit-chat / Garmin 430 simulator
« Last post by fredq on November 20, 2017, 03:36:59 PM »
At one time there was a simulator that Garmin had on their webpage that worked to learn how to use the 430.  I had this on one of my previous computers.  I am getting rechecked out in our clubs Cirrus.  Does anyone know of a source of this simulator I can use on my Macbook Air.
Hi fellows,

I've got a Grumman Tiger hangared at Twin Oaks south of Hillsboro.  I'm not flying it as much as I used to and am looking for a partner.

Anyone want to partner up on a wonderful cross-country IFR airplane? It's a sweet airplane. I love flying it so much I can't stand to sell it.

Oh yeah, I'll be swapping out the transponder in December for a GTX-345ES with the ADS-B goodies.

Let me know

I would love to get ASES too. I have my IFR. The idea of scud-running at 200' above the water all the way to my destination is very appealing :)
