Restaurant recommendation

My wife and I were at Pacific City not too long ago and ate at the Oar House. It's on the main road (turn left at the gas station), past the library, and not too far to walk from the airport. It's a sort of bar-lounge. Food and service were very good. And I love the name.

I figured it was a knock off of the Mustang Ranch in Nevada or its kin . . .

Heard the Sportsman Pub is a pretty good place to eat.

Sportsmans Pub and Grub is located just off the north end of the airport.
The BCP guy who has a place at PC quite often mentions eating there, so the food must be good.
Menu prices seem quite reasonable.

Being late starters, we usually arrive at Pacific City after 2:00 p.m. when several of the restaurants close. But Sunday we made it in just under the wire and had lunch at the Village Coffee Shoppe. It's a small cafe with a good selection of breakfast fare (available until they close), hot and cold sandwiches, and burgers. Service was exceptionally fast and friendly (in spite of our arrival three minutes before they quit seating), and the food was good. We'll definitely be going there again.

To get there, turn left at the Shell station. It's less than a block farther on the left. They close at 2:00 p.m., stop seating ten minutes before that.
