Just went to King County's airport website.  It no longer has a link that I can find to its "Fly Quiet" brochure.  But, searching google returns this: https://kenmorefbo.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/KBFI-fly-quiet-VFR-procedures.pdf

This is the same one I used last.  Its dated 2014 though.

All of the threads in the KBFI section point to older documents regarding the VFR procedures that seemed to be in place in 2016. Since then, all of those documents and threads seemed to have moved, and there is nothing on the KBFI web site regarding vfr procedures. I would like to get up to speed on flying in the Seattle area, and have flown into KBFI recently but the information available is tough to come by and the controllers do not seem very interested in helping unfamiliar pilots. Anyone help with recent procedures is appreciated.

I think a wiki would be much better for airport info.

Chit-chat / Incident @ Auburn Last Week

Does anybody know about the incident at Auburn last week.  When I was going to fly, I saw a Safety NOTAM, because an airplane had run off the runway and ended up in the pond on the NW side of the airport near the approach end of 16.

When I stopped by my hangar on Saturday, it appears that my "neighbor" may have been involved.

I hope there weren't any serious injuries.

The C-152 that went down on December 3 was N714TD.  It was the 13th 152 built, formerly a factory demonstrator, and was the cover girl in the debut brochure ...

I've got the brochure in my files.... shoot, that was a semi historic plane!

Well, I still come here every day, and always read these reports. I too remember this site being much busier, and David was actively posting almost daily. The FB page is very different and no comparison to a good web forum.

One thing I don't like is the airports page. There are too many, and it's hard to find posts. If you post something airport specific on the general forum, it gets moved, then lost forever IMO.

I will be there, last year was my first time, work schedule had prevented me from going previously. No longer a problem since I “retired” nine days ago. Also, for what it’s worth I have been a member since it was PNAHF...1966 and my member number was 43, if my memory serves me correct.

There's definitely a lot more activity on the FB page but most are just quick status updates/pics w/o much else.  There are some accident reports but I don't recall seeing the ones at Paine on the FB group.

I heard about the 152 crash at Paine from my hangar neighbor.  A CFI and student were reported onboard and I was glad to hear that they were able to walk away.  The plane was on the flight line at Regal Air if I recall.

I've also noticed a lack of posting after stuff like this.
Is all the reporting action moved tp the FAT-PNW facebook site?

I believe a lot of it is because posters wonder if anyone is even remotely interested. That is certainly why I don't post as much news as I used to.
Examples? In events and destinations -
Museum Flight  146 views - 1 comment (was looking for tickets).
Abbotsford  144 views - 0 comments.
 Port Townsend  145 views - 1 comment,
Versus Finals 111 views - 0 comments.

Kinda speaks for itself.
