Yes.  On the last visit (last weekend) only their remnants were present...

One of the swallows (?) that hang out at OLM zigged when he should have zagged the day I soloed (years ago).  Got him with the prop, but no damage to the C-172.  Can't say as much for the bird.  We landed, inspected for damage (to the plane - none) and I took off solo.  That, and having the local museum's Corsair cleared out behind me made for a very memorable first solo day.

Other than that, no bird strikes over the years.

I can't tell you how many different flight incursions Alaskan pilots tell. Everything from Alaska Airlines having a 'Salmon Strike' to 'Pterodactyls'.

....when a coyote ran from right to left across the runway in front of me and my student just before rotation. He probably came within a dozen feet of either getting sliced by the prop or hitting the left gear on the 152, but managed to get across the centerline just before we reached him.
I've seen a lot of coyotes on airports, but never worried about them. They're pretty darn smart....whereas deer are dumber than dirt..
Sometimes they even seem to have a death wish.

You forgot to say that they're also geniuses at camouflage ...

While I have only actually hit birds (big and small) landing, I have had to wave-off for coyotes and deer on multiple occasions.  The deer have been an issue up here in WA, but also down in Alabama and North Carolina.  I have had bird strikes all over.  Don't forget to fill out those BASH reports!
